marriage

we haven't been married all that long, but i feel like its been forever. i feel like im stuck in time right now. i am looking forward to so many things and its almost like im rushing towards them and forgetting to just ENJOY the time i have right with my husband.
i need to get better at that.
my house isn't giving me that good homey feeling anymore. i decided to paint the hallways this weekend. maybe that will help. i need to add color to our house. i don't like walls, its too impersonal. i want warmness in every corner and on every wall. i want people to walk in and instantly feel comforted in our home.
theres a new store in town, real deals on home decor. i checked out their website and it looks like some of their things will fit into our home just perfectly. i'm planning to check with out with my N.D. girl kelly on saturday.
tonight i am going to wash down the walls with tsp (i think thats the name of it). they are filthy. just like the carpets i cleaned last weekend, yay for me. and maybe we can go buy the paint tonight, its by dutch boy, we usually just get the walmart paint, its pretty cheap and decent quality, but i need something for high traffic areas... butt go do some research. I don't know if satin is good for that or not. the actual painting process should not take very long at all. i love getting a new look in a small amount of time. painting can be a pain, but this should be easy, breezy. and my loving husband usually does all the rolling and the ceiling trim is my job.
saturday we are scheduled to go rummage saling. oh how i love to garage sale!!! im actually going to one before work tomorrow. :)
so i totally went off a limb and this post was nothing like i planned, oh well. another day. :o)
