It seems that things have turned around a bit since I was so unhappy with life. Like I said in my last post, I told myself "self you need to get out there and get involved so you can meet people".
So.. I did.
I joined that knitting group at B&N and I also decided to sign up to teach CCD at our church. I just talked to the coordinator today and I am going to be teaching kindergarten and maybe 1st grade. I am so excited for that!! I love working with children, especially when they can go back home to their parents.
This might seem petty, but I found out about the library in Laurel, and they do interlibrary loans, which the Billings library does NOT. (stupid!) The library I worked at in college had the interlibrary loans and its the greatest thing ever for book lovers.
So I checked out the Laurel library web site and they have all these great Debbie Bliss baby knit books and I cannot WAIT to check them all out! I'm so excited!!
This is one of the books I especially wanted, I saw it at the yarn store but it was too much $$$.. Isn't that sweater on the front just the sweetest little thing?!

Glad to see you doing better!!! :-)
I have a couple of DB books and they are the most adorable classic (and relatively simple!) patterns. That one is on my WANT list though.. the cover jacket is TDF adorable. Our libraries ALL suck. Seriously. I think the only knitting books I've seen were at least 10 - 20 years old.
